Sonakshi Sinha comfortable with roll 'Mandakini', while without Expose!
Head Milan Luthria and maker Ekta Kapoor have had their share of vacillation in roping in an actress suited to play the function of Mandakini in the sequel of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. After their original decision Kareena Kapoor quit of the undertaking, a mess of actresses were shown up for be under consideration for the picture. It was even accepted that Kangana Ranaut, who played Ajay Devgn's cherish interest Rehana in OUATIM would be able to be restricted in.
Now we hear that Sonakshi Sinha has bagged the function. On the other hand, Sonakshi won’t be doing any revealing scenes in the picture, particularly that bathing under the waterfall in a thin white sari that Mandakini did in Ram Teri Ganga Maili.
What made Sonakshi get on was the delay in the shooting of Lootera because of Ranveer Singh's injury. Besides since OUATIM 2 comes in August, Sonakshi is anticipated to have more unhindered dates in her diary by then. Add to that the fact that both Milan Luthria and Ekta Kapoor didn’t really want Kangana Ranaut playing the function because they thought the audience could move toward getting confused in the middle of the characters of Rehana and Mandakini.
In Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2, Akshay Kumar plays the character of a underworld don, approximately based on Dawood Ibrahim. Sonakshi will play his fondness interest, Mandakini, once a popular actress in Bollywood.
Incidentally, it could be Sonakshi and Akshay's third picture as a single unit after Raucous Rathore and Joker.
