Bipasha's 'Dum Maaro Dum' clears lawful leap for discharge

Bipasha's 'Dum Maaro Dum' clears lawful leap for discharge: Rohan Sippy's unique film Dum Maaro Dum had run into a lawful jump for professedly delineating the state of Goa and its ladies in unfavorable light.

A media individual from Goa, Savio Rodrigues, had indexed a Public Interest Litigation in the court to look for a stay on the discharge of the film on April 22.

The division seat of Bombay High Court including Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice S C Dharmadhikari had viewed the promos of the film final week and altered the hearing on Monday.

On April 18, the seat rejected the PIL by Rodrigues on the ground that there was no proof nor sufficient truths introduced in the request to stop the film from discharging at theatres.

The film will now discharge on April 22. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Rana Daggubati, Prateik Babbar, Aditya Pancholi and Deepika Padukone (in a cameo presence).
